Welcome Fall with a delicious pumpkin cake!
Hello followers! Summer is now over and our favorite cozy and rainy days are around the corner! It is cooler outside and what a better idea than to cook a fall-ish dessert? Amorium wants to welcome Fall with a yummy recipe that you will never get tired of making! And since it is pumpkin season let's go for a delicious pumpkin cake!
Let's start by the ingredients:


- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 2 cups of milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups confectioners of sugar
- 1 table spoon of water
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 cup of canned pumpkin
- 1 1/2 table spoon of pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tea spoon of vanilla extract
- Butter a cake pan, set aside.
- Melt the butter and set aside.
- Whip the egg whites.
- Beat the egg yolks with sugar until it becomes light ( recommended 5 to 6 minutes)
- Mix in the melted butter with water and combine both.
- Add the flour mixing well to break down all the crumbs.
- Beat in the milk and the vanilla together.
- Add the pumpkin and pumpkin spice and whip until smooth.
- Slowly add the egg whites , whipping gently until smooth.
- Pour the batter in the prepared pan.
- Set the pan on a baking tray and bake for about 45 minutes.
- Cool completely before dusting some confectioners sugar at the top of the cake.
- Slice cake into squares to make it comfortable to eat.
