layer Coco Chanel once said, "Once you've dressed, and before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take at least one thing off." But with delicate pieces being all the rage, layering multiple pieces has become a super trend. So let's find a common ground between the ever elegant Chanel and today's modern trend. Here's a few images on how we layer our pieces properly:

EARS

You don't have to stop with just one earring! If you're going to layer multiple keep it simple with various delicate pieces. If you want to wear a statement earring, pair it with a delicate piece up top to for balance. Mixing and matching metals and shapes is always the best way to keep it interesting! NECK

Keep it elegant, get funky, go boho- styling pieces together can give different looks. The key to layering necklaces is keeping the pieces delicate and at varied lengths. Start at the top- begin with the shortest necklace, pick a piece that compliments the neckline of your top. If you want an elegant look keep the style similar to the first piece, if you're feeling bold- mix it up with a different metal or chain. Try making your longest necklace on the thicker side to balance out the layering of the necklaces above. Remember, you don't have to stop at three! WRISTS

Go crazy, layer them on! A simple bangle is the perfect item to layer up with. Adding multiple delicate pieces actually balance out the look. Try bracelets of various thicknesses and shapes. If you're wearing a thicker bracelet, balance it out with one-two delicate pieces. Mixing and matching is key! HANDS

When stacking rings the best way is to stack on only a couple of fingers. Always be sure to keep a finger bare so you're not overdoing it, resulting in a sloppy look. Always mix and match with colors, textures, shapes, and metals.
